Why This Role Exists
We are seeking a CPA-designated Senior Financial Analyst who combines a solid accounting foundation with hands-on FP&A expertise. This role is the analytical engine of the finance team; owning budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and performance tracking across the business.
You will be a trusted partner to department leaders, translating financial data into clear insights that drive decisions. You'll build and maintain dashboards, lead KPI reporting, and support board-level reporting packages, all while maintaining the accounting rigor expected in a high-growth, private-equity-backed environment.
This is the right role for someone who has grown beyond pure accounting and wants to sit closer to the business; influencing strategy, not just reporting on it.
Who We Need - Key Responsibilities

- Maintain rolling forecasts (monthly/quarterly), identifying risks and opportunities against plan
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and working capital models
- Prepare variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) with clear, actionable commentary
- Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and business decisions
Reporting, Dashboards & KPI Tracking
- Design and maintain management dashboards and KPI scorecards across business units
- Produce monthly management reporting packages with financial and operational performance insights
- Support preparation of board and lender reporting packages
- Build data visualizations that make complex financial information accessible to non-finance stakeholders
- Standardize reporting templates and metrics across entities for consistency and comparability
Business Partnership & Collaboration
- Serve as the primary finance partner to department heads, supporting their planning and performance management needs
- Translate financial results into operational insights that help leaders make better decisions
- Challenge assumptions, identify trends, and proactively flag issues before they become problems
- Participate in business reviews, bringing financial perspective to operational discussions
Accounting & Month-End Close
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain audit-ready working papers and supporting schedules
- Contribute to close process improvements and automation initiatives
Finance Integration & Process Improvement
- Support financial integration of newly acquired businesses into reporting and planning processes
- Assist with system migrations, chart of accounts alignment, and reporting standardization
- Identify and implement improvements to planning, reporting, and close workflows

- 5+ years of progressive experience, with meaningful hands-on FP&A experience
- Strong accounting foundation (public accounting or industry financial reporting background)
- Demonstrated experience building budgets, forecasts, and management reports

- Exposure to PE-backed, multi-entity, SaaS/ technology or high-growth environments is a strong asset
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience with BI or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred
- Experience with acquisitions, integrations, or finance transformation is a plus
