Why This Role Exists

Tenom is a high-growth organization on the lookout for a curious, people-obsessed HR Generalist to join the team in Winnipeg, MB. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to day-to-day HR operations and employee relations — while also getting meaningful exposure to talent development, total rewards, and the full employee lifecycle. Who We Need - Key Responsibilities

Employee Experience:
  • Support the team with People (HR) functions including onboarding, offboarding, general administrative support, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate with other teams, including payroll, marketing, communications, learning and development to provide data integrity support.

Employee Relations:
  • Support day-to-day employee relations activities across assigned locations
  • Assist with performance management processes, including documentation and tracking
  • Help coordinate disability case management and paid time off absences

Talent:
  • Support recruitment efforts. Assist in the full-cycle recruiting process by posting job ads, occasionally receiving and reviewing resumes, responding to candidate inquiries, and conducting reference checks.
  • Contribute to the implementation of best practices for all-round candidate experience.

HR Strategy/Special Projects and Organizational Development:
  • Assist with the development, delivery and/or implementation of training programs to support operations and company growth.
  • Assist leaders with strategic people planning and culture efforts; evaluate organizational performance effectiveness and identify gaps/areas for improvements to HR policy and internal processes as required.
  • Other HR duties as assigned including research and implementation of best HR practices and participation/leading special projects.

What You Need
  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • CHPR is an asset.
  • 2–3 years of HR or people operations experience
  • Familiarity with Canadian employment legislation across provinces.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting people
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Willingness to learn HR systems (ADP Workforcenow an asset), tools, and best practices on the job
  • Comfort working across multiple regions and time zones
